The responsibility of the Municipal Corporation is to collect, segregate, transport and dump the waste of the city.
Transferring the waste is done with the help of primary collection vehicles from which the waste has to be transferred to the secondary collection vehicles that are responsible to transfer that waste to the waste processing plant for dumping.
All these waste is collected from door to door via waste bins of the home or through the bins settled at the streets. All these bins are labeled properly that is helpful to segregate the waste.

The solution which is proposed uses the RFID and GPS enables the plan to manage the solid waste. The GPS tracker is fixed with the waste collection vehicle and RFID tags are attached to the community bins.
The Android phone can easily get in connect with these technologies. They can generate a request to call the staff for collecting the waste and once the task is completed staff notifies the citizen. They can generate this request via phone call or SMS. The track of all the requests has been maintained by the concerned staff.
Waste should be managed properly because it has a serious impact on the health of citizens and on the environment. It is just about collecting the household and commercial waste, that is the initial stage of waste management. It is more about processing that waste and recycling non-biodegradable waste to use it again.
